My heartiest felicitation on the eve of auspicious publication day of the annual

magazine of Shahid Babul Academy “Shewat Payrar Mela-2023”.

Pallima Sangsad was established on 27 December 1967 as part of the youthful

endeavor of some young men under the stewardship of renowned social activist

Mr. Hafizur Rahman Moyna. This is a social organization that aims to serve the

society. In order to further expand the services of this organization, some

affiliate institutions like Pallima Women Club, Pallima Cricket Center, Pallima

Green, Pallima Healthcare were also established.

Besides, in remembrance of ex-member of Pallima Sangsad Abdullah Hel

Baki, Bir Protic who gave up his life in the glorious liberation war of

Bangladesh, “Shahid Baki Memorial Library” was also set up.

Another affiliate organization “Pallima Bidyapith” was also set up on 26

December 2016 where children from lower income families study.

A school is also a social organization, with this vision. “ Shahid Babul

Academy” was established. This School was set up on 15 January, 1976 in the

name of the Shahid Amirus Salam Babul, co-fighter of Shahid Abdullah Hel

Baki, Bir Protik.

In Shahid Babul Academy, there are 2 mediums of learning from Play Group to

Class 5. Bangla Medium and English Version. As of 2023, there are 2330

students are studying. There are 70 teachers, 1 Accountant, 2 Assistant

Accountants, 1 Data Entry Operator and 28 fourth class employees along with 1

Principal, 2 Vice-principals to conduct the curriculum activities. For overseeing

the academics, there is a Management Committee with 13 members.

There are 3 exams in this Academy-1 st term, 2 nd term and Final exam. Each

week, there are class tests. Besides curricular activities, we organize Sports,

Cultural programs along with National Festivals where students participate

spontaneously. Additionally, there are sports competitions, Picnic, Milad, Eid-

E-Miladunnabi (SM) being organized.

We conduct the academic and extracurricular activities under the guidance and

co-operation of the management committee.

At the end, I would like to express my gratitude and thanks to those who

extened co-operation in the publication of this Magazine.

I pray and hope that our young minds will find an improved, great mindset and

successful life through development of knowledge and talent. I’m expressing

my sincere thanks to vice-principals, dear colleagues and assistants who assist

me greatly in all associated activities and taking the organization to greater

heights of success.
