Pallima Sangsad was established as a social institution on December 27,1967.Engineer M Hafizur Rahman ,valiant freedom fighter A.R.M Azim Shafique ,Ali Newaj khan ,valiant freedom fighter Ataur Ahmed Ratan and Syed Saleh Ahmed khosru established this organization under the leadership of respected senior & founding president Mr. Muhammad Hafizur Rahman Moyna .

Pallima Sangsad had a glorious role during the great liberation war .I,along with three founding members ,directly took part in the liberation war. The then organizing secretary of Pallima Sangsad & a valiant freedom fighter Mr.Abdullah Hel Baki (Bir protik ) and one of his comrades Mr. Amirus Salam Babul were martyred by Pakistani forces on 4^th December ,1971. Other members of Pallima Sangsad also formed resistance from their respective positions during the liberation war .The mass song (gonosangeet)) artists of Pallima Sangsad also inspired the common people at that time .

In the post- independence period when the nation building works were going on under the leadership of Bangabandhu in the war- torn country, Pallima Sangsad also took part in this work .Although sports were one of the focus areas of Pallima Sangsad ,we felt that in order to move the country ahead ,we need to develop a modern generation that is educated and enriched with morals and ethics .In that context ,Shahid Baki Smrity Pathagar was established in 1972 and shahid Babul Academy in 1976 to commemorate Abdullah Hel Baki (Bir Protik ) and Shahid Amirus Salam Babul ,the martyrs of the great liberation war .

Pallima Sangsad has played a significant role in every stage of the social movement during its 55 year journey .Shahid Baki  Smrity Pathagar is one of the modern libraries of the country today .We have established Shahid Babul Academy as an ideal educational institution .Along with the academic teaching ,library classes,cultural activities and sports are priorities to ensure mental development ,moral education ,and development of reading habits of all students.Library classes are mandatory for all students of all classes. As the world is heading to 4^th indusatrial revolution, ,our new generation will face many challenges in coming days .Shahid Babul Academy is aware of this fact .All teachers,under the guidance of our experienced governing body ,are always striving to deliver scientific and modern education to all students .We feel proud when we hear the alumni of this school have been serving the country by establishing themselves in various roles at home and abroad .

Today’s Pallima Sangsad is a milestone of a social movement .All the members of Pallima Sangsad have contributed to this success .Every member is working with dedication and sincerity for social development . Pallima Sangsad has 7 institutions; Shahid Baki Smrity Pathagar, Shahid Babul Academy, Pallima Mohila Porishad , Pallima Cricket Centre , Pallima Health Services , Pallima Green and Pallima Bidyapith and is playing a glorious role in almost all area including sports ,education ,environment ,literature and culture .

With the success of the affiliates ,Pallima Sangsad is recognized as a modern social organization. .As the president ,I am very proud of all members of Pallima Sangsad .I am grateful to all the members of governing bodies , all teachers ,officers ,&employees of Shahid Babul Academy since its inception to date , whose untiring efforts have made this institution as a renowned educational institution in the country .I also like to thank the guardians who are entrusting us .
